You can help!

Built in 1890, the old Opera House of Edinburg

(now Theatre Shenandoah)  is in need of some TLC.

So far, we have:

  • Repaired leaks in the belfry

  • Removed bats from the attic

  • Replaced and upgraded electrical work dating from the early 1900's

  • Repaired the house ceiling

  • Insulated the attic

  • Begun to scrape and paint the exterior

  • Redone entryway flooring

But there remains a great deal of work to be done. If you would like to volunteer some time to work alongside like-minded folks as we rehabilitate the building to make it the "small jewel' of the valley, please call the theater at 540-984-3972 and leave a message.

There are a variety of tasks to perform and whatever talents you can bring to the theatre will be greatly appreciated.
