Theatre Shenandoah is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theater located in Edinburg, Virginia.

Theatre Shenandoah is dedicated to producing and performing a wide range of plays, musical theater, workshops, and readings. Our passion for the performing arts drives us to create inspiring and entertaining events that cover a diverse spectrum of theatrical experiences. We collaborate with other artistic groups in the Shenandoah Valley to foster educational and inspirational opportunities for our community. Lori Staley
In pursuit of a simpler, less congested life, Lori moved to the Valley in 2007 from Northern Virginia. ​She has been involved in theatre for over 40 years, working both professionally and non- professionally throughout Virginia and Maryland, as well as appearing in numerous regional commercials and several independent films.

Theatre Shenandoah audiences may remember her performances as Diana in "Next to Normal", Louise in "Fox on the Fairway", and Eva Peron in "Evita". Other favorite roles include Golde in "Fiddler on the Roof", Annie in "The Miracle Worker", Roxie in "Chicago", Amneris in "Aida", Nancy in "Oliver", Peter in "Peter Pan", Sister Aloysius in "Doubt", Beggar Woman in "Sweeney Todd", Agnes in "I Do, I Do", and Sonya in "They're Playing Our Song".

She has directed many shows at Theatre Shenandoah including "Jesus Christ Superstar," "The Miracle Worker," "Guys and Dolls," "The Crucible," "Evita," "Wizard of Oz," "Fiddler on the Roof," "Matilda,", "A Christmas Carol", "Brighton Beach Memoirs", "The Diary of Anne Frank", and "A Christmas Story".
Secretary
Megan Kimble
Megan Kimble serves as the secretary on the board of Theatre Shenandoah. She considers herself a renaissance woman who enjoys sewing, woodworking, gardening, acting, and being a mom of 2 adorable children. Learning how to do new things and helping out wherever she can are her everyday goals. Her husband Jacob owns Kimble electric and assists in theatre renovations. Megan has been in several small productions: her favorite role being Aunt Abby in Arsenic and Old Lace. She looks forward to serving the community for years to come.
Treasurer
Angie Vann
Angie joined the Theatre Shenandoah board in July of 2023. Her background is in administrative management and financial records and bookkeeping. Angie did a little bit of theater as a tween, but her heart is in music, specifically the piano. She owns a bookkeeping business and her side hustle is professional photography. She is active in the community serving her church and several other nonprofit boards.

Ben has been involved in theater since freshman year of high school then in 2021 he started helping Theatre Shenandoah with tech and then set building and eventually acted in White Christmas and Christmas Carol.

Morgan Strassner
Morgan recently moved back to the Valley for work, but she knew joining Theatre Shenandoah would give her a home. Morgan came into the Theatre Shenandoah family during our 2026 production of The Sound of Music. She has graced our stage, painted it, and worked backstage to ensure our actors can deliver their best performances. While not at the Theatre, Morgan enjoys quiet nights at home with her cat, Mittens, live music, audiobooks, and visiting aquariums.
